Example of the Program: Beginner French Language Course

Duration: 12 weeks, 3 hours per week

Objective: To develop basic skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in French, and to provide an introduction to French culture.

Week 1: Introduction

• Greetings and introductions
• Basic pronunciation and phonetics
• Numbers 1-10
• Culture: French customs and traditions

Week 2: Vocabulary

• Common everyday words and phrases
• Basic sentence structures
• Numbers 11-20
• Culture: French cuisine and dining etiquette

Week 3: Grammar

• Present tense of regular verbs
• Question formation
• Numbers 21-100
• Culture: French geography and landmarks

Week 4: Conversation

• Introducing oneself and others
• Talking about personal information (age, nationality, occupation, etc.)
• Culture: French fashion and style

Week 5: Vocabulary and Grammar

• Describing people and things
• Possessive adjectives
• Culture: French art and architecture

Week 6: Listening and Speaking

• Understanding and responding to basic questions and instructions
• Describing daily routines and activities
• Culture: French holidays and celebrations

Week 7: Reading and Writing

• Reading and comprehension exercises
• Writing short paragraphs about daily routines and activities
• Culture: French literature and famous authors

Week 8: Vocabulary and Grammar
